This small collection is comprised of assorted documents and pilot training materials acquired by José Sanches during his 1980-1988 United States Air Force service. The materials relate to the Boeing KC-135 and Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington (state). James Hamilton Smith (1913-2002) attended the Boeing School of Aeronautics and worked in the field of aviation as a government contractor for the Boeing Company, as well as the Defense Contract Administration Services.
