Biographical Note

Homer Forest Whitlow (1931-2024) served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He served as crew chief on North American F-86s prior to being accepted into flight training. After flight training, he served in the 22nd Fighter Day Squadron at Bitburg AB, Germany, flying F-86s and F-100s, from 1954 to 1957. After returning stateside, he briefly flew with the Thunderbirds. He continued to serve the Air Force until his retirement in 1977.
