This collection is comprised of four color photographs of first Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and his wife, Paula, with 69 Squadron, Israel Air Force, inspecting Boeing B-17 aircraft that had participated in Israel's War of Independence in 1948. Included is a detailed description of how three repurposed B-17s shifted Israel's air potential during the war.
