Abstract
Michael T. Russo (1920-2006) was born in Cleveland, Ohio and joined the U. S. Army Air Corps in 1941 as a fighter pilot. Russo attained Ace status while fighting in the European and Mediterranean Theaters of Operation. The collection contains photographs, textual materials and ephemera related to the World War II experience of American Fighter Ace Michael T. Russo.

Abstract
Seymour Rutberg (1919-2009) was a Jewish American World War II pilot. The collection documents Seymour Rutberg's World War II service as a pilot as well as his post-war service and veteran activities. A smaller amount of material is personal in nature. This small collection is comprised of assorted documents and pilot training materials acquired by José Sanches during his 1980-1988 United States Air Force service. The materials relate to the Boeing KC-135 and Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington (state).
