Duffy during his service as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines, 1977-1980. Materials include Duffy's flight crew logs for hours flown from 1977-1979, training materials, and employee documents, such as blank forms, company policy memos, schedules and seniority lists; a one-year of service certificate, and Duffy's membership cards for the Union of Flight...

Contents of the Collection

The Carol Peterson Continental Airlines Boeing 707 Crash Collection is a small collection related to the crash of Continental Airlines Boeing 707 (N70775), Flight 11 on May 22, 1962 in Missouri. Included is an official report about the jet's powerplants. The report includes eight black-and-white photographs of the powerplants found after the crash. Also present are approximately 30 assorted newspaper clippings about the crash and investigation.

The Ken Schultz Commercial Airlines Collection consists of printed ephemera from Eastern Air Lines, Horizon Air, United Airlines, Pan Am, Era Aviation, and Heli L.A. Items are dated circa 1980s and include system timetables, decals, stationery, brochures, postcards, tickets, and city timetables for Anchorage, Kansas City, and Seattle/Tacoma. Also present is an employee handbook from Continental Airlines, dated 1988.

Steve A. Stimpson was a manager for Boeing Air Transport in the 1920s-1930s. The collection contains one hundred and fifty-two (152) black-and-white photographs in an unbound photograph album documenting early United Airlines history.
