Historical Note

Trans Texas Airways (TTA) was a local service carrier that operated from 1947 to 1969. Established as Aviation Enterprises in 1940, the airline became Trans Texas Airways, but changed names again in 1969 to Texas International Airlines. It ceased operations due to a merger with Continental Airlines.
