Historical Note
Trans-Texas Airways (TTa) was the name used by Texas International Airlines Inc. from 1947 to 1969. The airline began in 1940 as Aviation Enterprises. It changed to Trans Texas Airways in 1947 until 1969 when it changed again to Texas International Airlines. It effectively ceased operations in 1982 due to a merger with Continental Airlines.
