Historical Note

Air France is the current flag carrier airline for France. The airline, also seen as AIRFRANCE, was established in 1933 and is headquartered in Tremblay-en-France, France. The airline came into being as a result of a merger between Air Orient, Air Asie, and Aeropostale. In 2003 it merged with KLM although each airline continues to operate under its own corporate identity.

The Robert Dempster Airline ephemera is a small collection comprised of assorted airline schedules/timetables and safety cards ranging from the 1950s through the 1980s. The collection also contains a poster for a parade for Astronaut Dick Gordon through Seattle, Washington in 1966.
