Historical Note

Union de transports aériens (UTA) was a French private, independent airline that operated from 1963 to 1992. UTA was formed as the result of a merger between Union Aéromaritime de Transport (UAT) and Transports Aériens Intercontinentaux (TAI). The airline ceased operations when it merged into Air France.
