1910 Los Angeles Air Meet newspaper clippings
The collection is one (1) scrapbook of assorted newspaper clippings related to the 1910 International Air Meet at Dominguez Field in Los Angeles, California. The scrapbook is coverless with a failing binding. The clippings are from assorted unidentified newspapers and are glued to the pages, though some are loose.
It is unknown who collected the clippings.

The collection is primarily comprised of newspaper clippings and printed ephemera. Events documented include the Chicago International Air Show in Grant Park in 1911 and Rudolph's Flying Circus from 1984.

Norman "Jim" Silas Archibald (1894-1975) of Seattle, Washington served in the U.S. Army Air Service, 95th Aero Squadron during World War I, and later published a bestselling book on his experience. He served again in the Air Force during World War II at home in Seattle. The collection contains correspondence, military documents, photographs, and other materials relating to Archibald's life and military service.

The Julius A. Barr Clippings
Julius A. Barr (1905-1939) was born in Normal, Illinois and spent time as a personal pilot to Chinese military figures in the mid-1930s as well as worked as a Boeing test pilot from 1938-1939. The collection contains four clippings related to Barr's time at Boeing and his death.
