Biography

Lidija Gregov (born 1936) was an architect with Ibsen Nelsen associates who helped design parts of the Museum of Flight, including the Tower exhibit.

Lidija Gregov was born in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 6, 1936. She studied architecture at the University of Zagreb, graduating in the early 1960s. There, she met Ivo Gregov, who would become her husband. Due to a housing shortage in Zagreb, the couple moved to the United Kingdom, and were there from roughly 1966-1968. Then they moved to California in the late 1960s. Eventually, they settled in Seattle, Washington. Ivo Gregov started working at the architecture firm Ibsen Nelsen in the early 1970s while Lidija stayed home and took care of their children. She later joined the firm in 1973 when the children were older. The firm worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects. In the early 1990s, Lidija opened her own firm.
