Biography

Ivo Gregov (born 1934) was an architect with Ibsen Nelsen associates who helped design parts of the Museum of Flight.

Ivo Gregov was born in Preko, Croatia on July 12, 1934. He studied architecture at the University of Zagreb, graduating in 1961. There, he met Lidija, who would become his wife. Due to a housing shortage in Zagreb, he and Lidija moved to the United Kingdom, and were there from roughly 1966-1968. Then they moved to California in the late 1960s. Eventually, they settled in Seattle, Washington. Ivo Gregov started working at Ibsen Nelsen in the early 1970s; Lidija stayed home and took care of their children but joined the firm when the children were older. The firm worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Ivo Gregov designed the first computer science center at the University of Washington in 1974.
