Overview The Early Aviation Photograph Collection is a collection of unknown origins consisting of 328 prints and 299 negatives, all black-and-white, primarily depicting aircraft from the first half of the 20th century. Some airships, airports, pilots, and other subjects are also represented in the images.

Contents of the Collection The collection is comprised of fourteen (14) black-and-white photographs depicting the construction of Boeing aircraft and the inside of Boeing Plant 1, circa 1914-1919. Content Description The David Gallagher Boeing 747 Photograph Collection is a small collection consisting of 39 8x10" black-and-white photographss that were taken in early 1968 of the Boeing 747 assembly process. There are 15 photos taken on January 4; 15 photos taken on February 29; one photo taken on March 3; four photos taken on March 6; one photo taken on March 23; and three taken on April 24, 1968. The images depict pieces of the fuselage being positioned together.
