This is a very small collection comprised of World War II-era aviation ephemera, dated 1941-1945, collected by David Brown. The collection includes a "God is My Co-Pilot" promotional booklet, four pieces of WWII-era sheet music, an October 1945 United States Army Air Forces Fair leaflet, and a "Parade of Aircraft," souvenir booklet from the Wright Field Air Fair, Dayton, Ohio, October 1945.

Charles B. D. Collyer Collection

Abstract

Charles B. D. Collyer (1896-1928) enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps during World War I. After the war Collyer broke the record for circumnavigation of the globe. On the return trip, Collyer died attempting to break his own record. The collection contains correspondence about naming an airfield in his honor as well as a photograph and drawing of Collyer.
