Content Description The Kenneth B. Luplow Collection is a small collection consisting of a logbook and notebook dating to Luplow's time working for Boeing in the 1940s. The logbook spans 1941-1946, and documents Luplow's role as flight engineer on many first flights, including the XB-29 and XC-97 and XPBB-1. Abstract

Merwin W. Vining was a United States Air Force pilot with the 381st Bombardment Group during World War II. The collection includes two (2) photographs, a yearbook and graduation announcement, and a pilot's log primarily related to Vining's time as a cadet, although the log book covers Vining's 1944-1945 service in the European theater.
