Contents of the Collection

The collection is comprised of Northwest Airlines and Northwest Orient Airlines promotional material highlighting Lockheed aircraft. A Lockheed-Northwest Sales Development Material kit includes three lithographs and a photograph of Lockheed military and commercial aircraft. The collection also includes a Northwest Orient Airlines in-flight entertainment booklet containing puzzles and trivia about the Lockheed Super Constellation.

Lloyd R. Lyckman (1914-1993) was a Staff Sergeant with Army Air Forces 158th and 72nd Liaison Squadrons during World War II and post-war in Japan. The collection contains photographs, assorted manuscripts, maps and printed ephemera related to his training and military service in Japan.

Contents of the Collection The Charles Zweigart Aviation Postcard Collection is comprised of approximately 5,000 postcards collected by Zweigart from 1941 to the early 2000s. Most of the postcards are related to commercial aviation aircraft, but some feature airports.
