Contents of the Collection
The Francis M. Young Aerial Survey Photograph Collection is comprised of fifteen black-and-white aerial photographs taken during Alaska Survey Expeditions, circa 1930s-1940s. The photographs are 18x22" and only a few have very brief contextual information on the reverse. Identifications include a Douglas R5D (Douglas C-54 Skymaster), Mount Rainier (Washington State), and the Columbia Glacier (Alaska).
