Godfrey H. Frohn of Lincoln, Nebraska trained with the U.S. Army Air Service, 32nd Aero Squadron and served overseas with the 341st Aero Squadron during World War I. The collection contains a notebook documenting his studies during training.

The Harold K. and Charlene B. Hartell World War II Collection documents the personal careers of the Hartells during the war, primarily from 1942 to 1945. The collection documents Harold’s training and service as a bombardier in the United States Air Corps and Charlene’s training and work for North American Aviation building B-25 bombers.

The Fred Thibodeaux Flying Fortress School Training Certificate is a small collection consisting of the certification of completion of technical aircraft training at the Boeing Flying Fortress School by Sgt. Fred Thibodeaux dated September 17, 1943. The certificate is accompanied by a grade report and an envelope with Thibodeaux's name inscribed in calligraphy.
