Biographical Note: Dwayne McLeod

Dwayne Webster McLeod was born in Nevada on April 4, 1915 to Charles A. McLeod and Violet B. (Williams) McLeod. He grew up in Yerington, Nevada. Prior to his enlistment on October 16, 1940, he worked for United Air Lines. McLeod served as a mechanic during World War II.

In 1940, he married Muriel R. Landon (1920-2004). Donor information states that he survived the war but died shortly after his return, on November 3, 1943, in San Diego, California.
