Abstract The Paul A. Ludwig Military Aviation Photograph Collection contains 2382 photographic prints and negatives with a very small amount of textual materials collected by Paul A. Ludwig and ranging from the late 1910s through the early 1980s. The bulk and strength of the collection is photographs of World War II-era aircraft and squadrons. The collection is nearly all copy prints from a variety of institutions and dozens of private collections.

Contents of the Collection The Glenn Y. and Ronald L. Robinson Photograph Collection is largely comprised of a mixture of United States Air Force and Boeing Company photographs, circa 1930s-1980s. Contents of the Collection The World War I era Photographs is a small collection of twenty-four black-and-white vintage prints of unknown origin that depict aircraft and military personnel of World War I, circa 1914-1919. Scenes include military aircraft and personnel, primarily German forces. A few aircraft are shown in flight but most prints show aircraft that have been shot down or crashed.
