Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of four photographs and one map related to the World War II military service of William D. Dunham, circa 1939-1945. Each of the 4x5" photographs is black-and-white and depicts Dunham with an airplane. In three of the photographs, other military personnel are also in the image. Dean Mesnard World War II Navigator Chart

Contents of the Collection The collection contains a single navigational chart printed October 1944 and used by the United States Army Air Forces, 505th Bombardment Group during World War II. The top of the chart is printed as "AAF Special Plotting Chart, Chart No. S-501, Restricted." There are plotting notations done in pencil with various markings, presumably to aid the navigator. Abstract

Jerry Michaud (1924-1982) Michaud served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Naval pilot in the Pacific Theater. Thelma McGraw (1920-1996) She worked as a stewardess with United Airlines (UAL). The collection contains textual materials, black-and-white photographs, and ephemera associated with their 1942-1952 naval and commercial airline careers, respectively.

Ralph H. Wandrey (1921-2020) was a World War II American fighter pilot and ace. The Ralph Wandrey Fighter Ace Collection documents fighter pilot and ace Ralph Wandrey's World War II service as well as activities associated to his veteran status, from 1935-2009. A smaller amount of material is personal in nature. Types of material include military records, a pilot's log, photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence, pamphlets, personal and educational records and clippings.
