Contents of the Collection

The Kenneth Woods Naval Aircraft Photographs is a collection of twenty-two (22) black-and-white photographs featuring United States Naval Aircraft, primarily floatplanes and flying boats from 1918-circa 1920s. The photographs are 18x22" and most do not have captions or identifying information. A variety of aircraft are featured, including the Vought OS2U Kingfisher, the Consolidated PBY Catalina, and the Curtiss SOC Seagull. The aircraft are pictured in flight and on the water.

Contents of the Collection The Francis M. Young Aerial Survey Photograph Collection is comprised of fifteen (15) black-and-white aerial photographs taken during Alaska Survey Expeditions, circa 1930s-1940s. The photographs are 18x22" and only a few have very brief contextual information on the reverse. Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of an 11x17" binder of technical drawings for the Curtiss C-46 Commando, dated 1943-1944. The binder cover is black with white text that reads: "Production Breakdown drawings - C-46 Airplane - Curtiss Wright Corporation - Airplane Division - Buffalo Plant." It also has "Germeglia" on the upper right corner, which is the last name of the donor. Any further connection to the content is unknown although it is possible Jim Germeglia was a Curtiss employee. ...
