Series III. Air Shows and Events
The Air Shows and Events series contains posters and lithographs that advertise or commemorate special events such as air shows, exhibitions, races, and momentous flights. This series includes both Pacific Northwest local events, and global events. Examples of items in this series include posters from the Emerald City Flight Festival, the Japanese Paper Airplane Championship, and the Skagit Tulip Fly-in.

Series I. Aircraft
Series X. United States Military
This series contains posters depicting aviation-related topics pertaining to all branches of the United States Military. This includes the planes, missiles, bases, Naval vessels, airboarne warning and control systems (AWACS), The Blue Angels, and The Thunderbirds.
Depictions of planes that are from manufacturers, like Lockheed, that are not explicitly military can be found in the Aircraft series.
Series XI. World War II
This series is composed of materials relating to World War II between the years of 1939-1945, or made after the fact regarding these years. Materials present here include fact sheets, instructional posters, and assorted other posters.
Propaganda posters from this era can be found in the World War II Propaganda Posters series of this collection, and World War II-era aircraft identification posters can be found in other collections.
Series V. Balloons and Dirigibles
This series contains visual and textual items that depict various balloons and dirigible aircraft. Notable crafts include Aerolift Cyclo-Crane. This is a small series within the collection.
Series VIII. Helicopters
This series includes material depicting textual or visual information about helicopters. This is a smaller series in the collection.
