The University of Washington Venturi Wind Tunnel Reports document experiments by the University’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics to study the “Venturi Effect,” the effect of a fluid’s velocity as it passes through a constricted space. The collection contains memos and notations about calibrating and using the wind tunnel and reports by students describing the findings of their experiments ranging from the construction of the wind tunnel in 1930 to 1993.

Scope and Contents From the Series: This series has broken into three sections: Subseries A. 35mm Slides, 1946-1992; Subseries; B. Negatives, 1952-1974; and Subseries C.
