Polly (Peppard) Rohrback Northwest Airlines Flight Attendant photographs
Contents of the Collection
The Polly (Peppard) Rohrback Northwest Airlines Flight Attendant photographs is small collection consisting of six color photographs that depict Polly (Peppard) Rohrback during her time as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines (NWA), circa 1968-1978.
The photographs range in size from 1x2" to 8x10". One is a graduation group portrait of NWA stewards and stewardesses, most of the rest are more casual group shots. Two images have captions which provide contextual information; one identifies Donald Nyrop, who was president of NWA, with a Montana-based flight crew at the Big Sky ski resort for the inaugural Douglas DC-10 flight. The image also has "Polly" above the caption, possibly indicating the donor in the shot as well. The other captioned photograph reads "Chet Huntley, founder of Big Sky Airlines. Four NWA flight attendants." The other snapshots show Rohrback and a fellow stewardess in green stripe uniform, circa 1968, and Rohrback in a red two-piece uniform with hat.
