Biographical Note

Glenn Luther Martin (1886 – 1955) was an early American aviation pioneer. He designed and built his own aircraft and was an active pilot. Martin founded the Glenn L. Martin Companay in 1912. After several mergers, it is currently known as Lockheed Martin.
