 Organization

Historical Note

Pacific Air Lines was established in 1941, although services did not begin until 1946. The airline initially operated as Southwest Airways. It changed its name to Pacific Air Lines in 1958. The airline ceased operations in 1968 when it merged with Bonanza Air Lines and West Coast Airlines to form Air West, which eventually became Hughes Airwest.
