Historical Note

West Coast Airlines was a regional passenger service airline in the Pacific Northwest from 1941 to 1968. The airline operated out of Seattle, Washington. It acquired Empire Airlines in 1952. It ceased operations when it merged with Bonanza Air Lines and Pacific Air Lines to form AirWest, which became Hughes AirWest in 1970.
