Historical Note

Bonanza Air Lines was established in 1945. Its headquarters were initially in Las Vegas, Nevada, but in 1966, the company relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1968, Bonanza effectively ceased to exist when it merged with Pacific Air Lines and West Coast Airlines to form Air West, which became Hughes Airwest in 1970.
