Overview

The Charles L. Soellner NASA Collection documents the space programs of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The documents date from 1959 to 1975. The bulk of the materials are photographs and photomechancial prints mass-produced by NASA. The visual documentation and ephemera related to manned spaceflight missions were collected and assembled together in scrapbooks by Soellner.

Donald Viele was a Systems Engingeer with Boeing who worked with NASA on the Lunar Orbiter Program (1964-1967). This collection contains documents and photographs collected and authored by Viele during his time on the Lunar Orbiter team.

Willard "Bill" P. Williams had a 43-year career at Boeing and worked on numerous projects, including the Lunar Orbiters. The Willard P. Williams Lunar Orbiter Photograph Collection consists of three panels of black-and-white positive transparent film strips and two photographic prints documenting the various features of the moon captured on the first Lunar Orbiter mission.

The Kenneth J. Young Space Memorabilia Collection is a single-item collection that contains a bookmark issued by NASA, circa 2022. The bookmark is shaped as the Project Artemis Orion spacecraft. Contents of the Collection The Charles Zweigart Aviation Postcard Collection is comprised of approximately 5,000 postcards collected by Zweigart from 1941 to the early 2000s. Most of the postcards are related to commercial aviation aircraft, but some feature airports.
