Historical Note

Curtiss Flying Service, Inc. was an American regional airline from 1929 to circa 1932. It was based in Boston, Massachusetts and offered two flights on amphibian aircraft from Boston to Bar Harbor and Nantucket. It became Curtiss-Wright Flying Service, Inc. when its parent company, Curtiss Aeroplane & Motor Co., merged with Wright Aeronautical. The exact end date is unknown but it appears to have ceased operations by 1932.
