Born in Scotland, John Cook (1899-) was a mechanic who worked on the engines that powered the Douglas World Cruisers that completed the first circumnavigation of the globe by air. Abstract
The First Around-the-World Flight Collection is primarily comprised of reproduction photographs and clippings that document the April-September 1924 around-the-world flight flown by Douglas World Cruisers.
