Seymour Rutberg World War II Collection
Seymour Rutberg (1919-2009) was a Jewish American World War II pilot. The collection documents Seymour Rutberg's World War II service as a pilot as well as his post-war service and veteran activities. A smaller amount of material is personal in nature. Most items are dated 1941-1952 and types of material include military records, flying logs, clippings, correspondence, reports and photographs.
James C. Stewart Fighter Ace Collection
Lt. Col. James C. Stewart (1919-2004) was born in Corona, California. He joined the Army Air Force, graduated from flying school in August 1940, and was assigned to the 56th Fighter Group which was stationed in England during World War II. The collection primarily covers Lt. Col. Stewart's 1943-1966 military service with military records, personal documents, photographs, clippings, assorted ephemera, and films.
Leon Swietlikowski World War II Collection
Leon Swietlikowski (1912-1984) was born in Wilno, Poland and served in the Polish Air Force, as well as the Polish squadrons attached to the French Air Force and Royal Air Force, during World War II. The collection includes log books, personnel documents, and photographs of Leon Swietlikowski and his wife, Bette.
John Sylvester Wheelwright Collection
The collection consists of materials related to the World War I career of John "Jack" Sylvester Wheelwright (1885-1962), who was a textile designer, engineer and naval commander and served on airships in the Royal Naval Air Service.

Paul A. Ludwig Military Aviation Photograph Collection
The Paul A. Ludwig Military Aviation Photograph Collection contains 2382 photographic prints and negatives with a very small amount of textual materials collected by Paul A. Ludwig and ranging from the late 1910s through the early 1980s. The bulk and strength of the collection is photographs of World War II-era aircraft and squadrons. The collection is nearly all copy prints from a variety of institutions and dozens of private collections.
