Contents of the Collection The Craig Cole Charles Lindbergh Collection is quite small and holds three textual items related to an encounter between Western Union Messenger Sergeant Harvey Seabrook and aviator Charles Lindbergh. On September 13, 1927, Seabrook was assigned to deliver telegrams to Lindbergh while Lindbergh was at Sand Point Naval Station in Seattle, Washington. Abstract

The collection is comprised of a small photograph album, loose photographs, a prisoner of war diary, and assorted research documents pertaining to the World War I service and prisoner of war (POW) experience of Lieutenant Lionel Cherry Gilmour (1891-1973), pilot of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and its predecessor, the Royal Flying Corps (RFC).

Abstract

David O. Hill (1939-) was a pilot for Seaboard World Airlines (SWA). Hill was also SWA's archivist and historian. The collection relates to the company history, personnel, and operations of Seaboard World Airlines (SWA), from its establishment in 1946 to 1980 when it merged with Flying Tigers Line and is comprised primarily of textual materials, the bulk of which are scrapbooks; but also includes photographic materials, including prints, slides, and negatives; and a single DVD.
