The Lorraine C. (Coccio) Ditsworth Western Airlines Flight Attendant Collection is comprised of texual materials and sixteen (16) photographs. The bulk of the material was collected by Ditsworth during her 1953-1956 service as a Western Airlines (WA) flight attendant, although five (5) of the photographs appear to be unrelated to Ditsworth directly and of a later date (circa 1970s). This small collection is comprised of four photographs and one map related to the World War II military service of William D. Dunham, circa 1939-1945. Contents of the Collection
The collection is comprised of a single black-and-white photograph. The image includes, from left to right, Art Goebel, Otto Timm, Charles Lindbergh, and Wally Pinero standing in front of an obscured aircraft. Handwritten underneath each man is their last name and the phrase "As of 1928." Next to Timm's head is a handwritten note "O.W. Timm." The photograph has been autographed by Wally Pinero, next to his likeness, in 1939.
