Abstract The John and Alan Blum Northwest Aviation Collection consists of visual and textual materials related to the lives and careers of John and Alan Blum. John founded the Northwest Air Service Company and Alan served as President after his brother died in a plane crash in 1931.

Abstract The Emile Chourré and Chourré Family Papers is comprised of documents and scrapbooks, photographic prints and photograph albums, and assorted ephemera primarily pertaining to the life and military career of Lieutenant Commander Emile Chourré (1894-1938). Major topics include Chourré's military service, especially while stationed in Coco Solo, Panama; his service as a U.S. Naval announcer for the 1929-1931 and 1933-1934 National Air Races; and family (immediate and extended) photographs.

Abstract Elvin L. Lindsay (1920-1999) was born in Potlach, Idaho and served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy during World War II, earning Ace status in 1944. The collection contains four (4) log books, a scrapbook, a small amount of ephemera, and photographs documenting Lindsay's wartime career.

Overview The Iva and Homer Metz Space Collection documents the careers of both Iva and Homer in aviation and the space industry. It follows their time with the U.S. Navy, the Boeing Company, North American Aviation, and at Cape Canaveral during the Apollo and Skylab programs.

Abstract Jerry Michaud (1924-1982) Michaud served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Naval pilot in the Pacific Theater. Thelma McGraw (1920-1996) She worked as a stewardess with United Airlines (UAL). The collection contains textual materials, black-and-white photographs, and ephemera associated with their 1942-1952 naval and commercial airline careers, respectively.

Contents of the Collection The Jack Northcott photograph album contains black-and-white photographs and assorted printed ephemera related to Northcott's United States Navy service during the 1950s. The album was likely collected and put together by Northcott or a close friend or family member. The front cover of the green leather[?] album has two (2) personalizations. Contents of the Collection The collection is comprised of a scrapbook with primarily black-and-white photographs featuring women and men in Navy uniforms, aircraft in flight, and military personnel and civilians in both casual and posed settings, circa 1930s-1950s. Most of the images are military-related with some depicting members of the Pomer family. The scrapbook also has a certificate of membership for the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences and three Pomer family children's report cards.

Abstract Carlyle Emerson Roy (b. 1890) served as a photographer at Key West Naval Air Station, Florida, during World War I. The collection contains an album of photographs and ephemera depicting U.S. Naval activities at the station.
