Abstract
The William Hough “Bill” Cook, Jr. Papers are comprised of documents, photographs, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia pertaining to the life and work of Bill Cook, Jr. A significant portion of this collection is made up of correspondence, both personal and professional. Major topics include the Boeing high speed wind tunnel, the B-29, B-47, and B-17 bombers, the development of the YC-14 short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, and research on supersonic transport.

The David R. Hellyer Pan Am Clipper Club Collection is a small collection consisting of materials collected by Hellyer as a child traveling between Tacoma, Washington and Asia in the early 1950s. The materials demonstrate how air travel, especially aboard Pan Am Clippers, captured his imagination as a child. The Earl J. Heroux Pan American Airlines Collection contains visual and textual materials collected by Earl J. Heroux on a trip via Pan Am Clipper to Alaska. Although the materials were collected in 1940, materials are dated between 1927 and 1940. The collection primarily consists of 24 black-and-white photographs and 10 photographic postcards. Contents of the Collection
The Tai Sing Loo Pan Am Clipper Photographs includes six black-and-white photographs taken by Loo in April 1935 documenting the first Pan American Clipper flight to Hawaii. The images depict the arrival, landing and departure of the plane piloted by Captain Edwin C. Musick. The photographs are numbered and original order was maintained. On the front of each photograph is Loo's name and date; three also include printed captions. Unidentified crew and dignitaries are in four of the images....

Overview
James Hamilton Smith (1913-2002) attended the Boeing School of Aeronautics and worked in the field of aviation as a government contractor for the Boeing Company, as well as the Defense Contract Administration Services. This small collection consists primarily of black-and-white photographs that were either taken or collected by Smith during his time at the Boeing School, as well as throughout his career in aviation, which spanned from the early 1930s to the late 1960s.
