Abstract The John and Alan Blum Northwest Aviation Collection consists of visual and textual materials related to the lives and careers of John and Alan Blum. John founded the Northwest Air Service Company and Alan served as President after his brother died in a plane crash in 1931.

Abstract Native Washingtonians Murray Stuart (1909-1960), and Noel Rae (b. 1909), married in 1929 and were both pilots. The collection contains clippings, photographs, correspondence, business records, and certificates relating to both their flight careers and personal lives.

Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of three postcards for Pan American Airways and a photograph related to Pacific Alaska Airways.
