The Fred Koch Fairchild F27 and Convair CV 240 Notebooks is a small collection of four (4) spiral-bound notebooks of handwritten notes related to these aircraft, circa 1940s-1966. Three (3) notebooks are about the F-27/F-227, which all have Fred Koch's name written on the outside, and one (1) is about the Convair 240. The Convair notebook does not have Koch's name so it is uncertain that it was his, though likely based on the handwriting.

The collection is comprised of twenty-three (23) black-and-white photographs of the Boeing B & W (Model 1). The images were taken by Prentice Arthur Kusabs, circa 1919, and depict the two Boeing Model 1s aircraft that were sold to the Walsh Brothers' New Zealand Flying School. The photographs range in size from 1x2" to 3x4" and show the aircraft in flight and on the ground.
