Scope and Contents Peter M. Bowers was a prolific correspondent, and this Series serves as a testament to not only the breadth and scope of a life-long passion for his subject, but his tenacity and determination to learn more about virtually every aspect of the aviation history experience – as well as share with what he himself had learned. Scope and Contents This series consists of documents related to writing projects brought to fruition and published (either as serial publications or small monographs) as well as some book-length subjects. Given Bowers’ prolific writing career resulting in nearly 900 articles and dozens of books, the amount of material in this series (350 files in six cubic feet) is smaller than would be expected.
