The Melvin A. Erickson World War II Collection is a small collection relating to the World War II service of Melvin A. Erickson, a B-17 pilot. It includes a pilot's logbook; military records, such as Erickson's war record, identity card, and discharge; aerial photographs of targets; and a photograph album which holds training and mission photographs.

The scrapbook includes clippings, photographs, correspondence, printed ephemera, and some small artifacts, both affixed to the pages and loose, predominantly related to the construction of Boeing B-17s.
