Content Description

The Lyle F. Stayner Boeing Collection is a small collection consisting of textual and visual materials collected by Lyle Stayner during his career at The Boeing Company in the 1950s and 1960s.

Materials include photographs and certificates related to milestones in Stayner's career; identification cards and passes for Stayner; business cards from Stayner's contacts, including ones at China Airlines; a first flight cover for the Boeing 720; and a first flight cover and eight color 35mm slides for the first flight of the Boeing 747SP.

Separated Materials

Two copies of the Boeing News, Vol. 25, No. 42 October 20, 1966 and a 1959 Boeing Supervisor's Album were transferred to the Museum's Library. An "N" rocket pin was transferred to the Museum's object collection.
