Contents of the Collection

The Jane (Klimek) White TWA Flight Attendant Collection is a small collection that contains textual materials used by TWA flight attendant Jane Klimek, circa 1968-1969. Materials include a May 1968 notebook used by Klimek during her flight attendant training, monthly flight time records and bid sheets, sections from a flight service manual, and a list of hostess assignments for July 1969. Of interest is a booklet titled "Pride makes the difference when wearing your new TWA wardrobe" which provides style guidelines as well as do's and don'ts for care and upkeep of one's uniform and personal appearance.

Biographical Note: Jane (Klimek) White

Jane S. (Klimek) White (1947-) was a TWA flight attendant from circa 1968-1970.

Jane S. (Klimek) White was born on January 13, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. After high school she attended junior college. Circa 1967-1968 she trained at the TWA training center in Kansas City, Missiouri. After her flight attendant training was complete, White was stationed in Chicago as her base. She served on domestic flights and often flew on the Boeing 727, Convair 880, and the Douglas DC-9. White served with TWA from circa 1968-1970.

As of 2014, White resided in Washington state. No further information is known.
