Contents of the Collection

The Fern B. Lenox Evans Pilot Collection is a small collection that pertains to the pilot career of Fern B. Evans, circa 1940s-1950s. It includes identification cards, such as Evans' pilot licenses as well as medical certificates; a Commercial Pilot examination kit; and assorted maps and charts. There are also four modern digital reprint black-and-white photographs: two portraits of Evans with an aircraft, one portrait of Evans without an aircraft, and a 1951 group portrait of the Radar Mechanic Airborne.
