The Georgia Griffin McDonald Flight Attendant Collection is comprised of textual materials collected during McDonald's nearly 20 year career as a flight attendant with several airlines, from 1966-1984.

Materials include stewardess' manuals for West Coast Airlines (1966) and Republic Airlines (1984), which also include sections focused on uniform regulations and professional appearance; labor agreements from Hughes AirWest, Republic Airlines, and West Coast Airlines (circa 1967-1983); and two (2) AirWest "Reserved/Occupied" seat signs.

Biographical Note: Georgia Griffin McDonald

Georgia Griffin McDonald was born October 17, 1944 in Ontario, Oregon. McDonald was a flight attendant for West Coast Airlines from 1965-1968, AirWest Airlines from 1968-1971, Hughes Airwest from 1971-1977, and Republic Airlines from 1984-1985.
