James Sterling Braniff Interior Photograph Collection
Contents of the Collection
The James Sterling Braniff Interior Photograph Collection is a small collection comprised of seven (7) color photographs depicting Braniff bulkhead panels for a Boeing 747, circa 1970s. All of the photographs are 8x10" and include a handwritten identification number on the reverse. The photographer is unknown.
The collection also includes the envelope the photographs were housed in and includes some handwritten notes on the back: "Braniff 747 Decorative Wall Panel - ASSY 65B65755-12 - Designed by Harper and George, Inc. (For Braniff) - [address redacted] - Special Nomex felt to provide fire resistance." The envelope is addressed to Mr. Jay Sterling and postmarked January 14, 1992.
