Scope and Contents

Certified negative photostatic copy of from the records of the United States Patent Office of the Original Specification, Papers 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 32, 33, and 34 and Drawings in the matter of the Pending Application of Glenn H. Curtiss filed August 22, 1911 Serial Number 645,340 for Improvement in Flying Machines. The copies are certified with U.S. Patent Office Form 2-390 signed November 12, 1919 by the Acting Commissioner of Patents with ribbon and seal and Department of Interior for 1-483 signed by the Assistant Secretary of Interior with ribbon and seal and with Department of State form signed by Robert Lansing on November 21, 1919 with ribbon and seal of the Department of State. The reverse of the State Department form is signed by the Italian Consul in Washington, D.C. on November 24, 1919. 111 pages.
