Curtiss filed June 12, 1916 for serial number 103,301 for Improvement in Machines Supported Jointly by Air and Water while at Speed on the Water” made November 12, 1919. The copies are certified with U.S. Patent Office Form 2-390 signed by the Acting Commissioner of Patents with ribbon and seal and Department of Interior for 1-483 signed by the Assistant Secretary of Interior with ribbon and seal and with Department of State form signed by Robert Lansing on November 21, 1919 with ribbon and seal of the Department of State. The reverse of the State Department form is signed by the Italian Consul in Washington, D.C. on November 24, 1919. 47 pages.
