Scope and Contents
Deed (full covenant) from Joseph C. Friedell and his wife Georgiana to the Curtiss Motor Company dated April 17, 1915. The envelope contains a printed deed form signed by both Joseph C. and Georgiana Friedell and notarized on May 3, 1915. The deed was recorded in Steuben County on May 13, 1915 in Book 337 at page 68. The Corporation paid $1.00 for a parcel of land in the village of Hammondsport. The Friedell’s reserved the right to “fruit from a certain apple tree now growing on said premises…for so long a time as said tree shall live.” The deed has been stamped in the upper right corner “DOCUMENT FILE No.78-5.” 2 pages.
