Scope and Contents
Deed (warranty) from Monroe and Emma G. Wheeler to the Curtis Motor Company dated December 4, 1914. The envelope contains a printed Warranty Deed form signed by both Monroe and Emma Wheeler and notarized on December 4, 1914. The deed was recorded in Steuben County on December 21, 1915 in Book 340 at page 487. The Curtiss Motor Company paid $246.35 for a parcel of land in the village of Hammondsport known as “The Old Place” formerly owned by Grattan H. Wheeler. The deed has been stamped in the upper right corner “DOCUMENT FILE No.78-4.” 2 pages and back cover.
