"Bulsch parties" -- photograph album, 1961 June 2 - June 26
Scope and Contents
The photograph album was a patterned cream leatherette album. Materials have been removed for preservations reasons, but original order has been maintained. At the start of the album is a small greeting card with the inscription: "Herzliche Glückwünsche, Christmas 1961, To Moya, a belated greeting but never the less with love - Barby, Gordon, and Dickie."
The album contains 57 photographs, both in color and black-and-white, from two "Bulsch parties" on June 2, 1961 and June 26, 1961, respectively. It is unknown what the term refers to. Many photographs had accompanying date tags, but 22 tags did not have corresponding prints. Those tags are grouped together at the rear of the album. The photographs are casual snapshots and depict party attendees and activities, such as swimming, drinking, and dancing. Identified individuals include Moya Olsen Lear and William P. Lear. Very few photographs have contextual information.
